Chicken in green

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 500 gm
  • Curd 200 gm
  • Coriander leaves 100 gm
  • Onion 200 gm
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 50 gm of green chili
  • 2 - 3 red chilies
  • Cinnamon 2 pieces, small
  • Bay leaf 1 pc
  • Salt & sunflower oil as needed


How to prepare:

  • Grind coriander leaves, onion, garlic, green chilies to make a paste.
  • Marinate the chicken for half an hour with the paste and curd.
  • Heat oil and add red chili, cinnamon and bay leaf. After frying take them away, only the oil will be used for cooking.
  • Add the marinated chicken in that oil and add salt as needed.
  • No water is required here. Cook it until the gravy becomes thick.
  • Serve it hot with plane basmati rice or paratha or roti.
