Chicken Polao

Ingredients:
Rice - 4 cup
Water -6 To 8 Cups
Chicken-1/2kg
Green cardamom-6 +5
Cloves-6+5
Bay leaf-1
Saboot zeera-1tbs
Pepper corns-10+8
Whole ginger-1inch
While garlic-1
Saboot red chilli-2
Salt -according to taste
Refined oil-4tbs
Zeera powder -1tbs
Ginger garlic paste-1.5 tbs
Curd-2tbs
Onions- 2big size chopped finely.

Recipe:
Take 4 cups water in a cooker.
Put 6 green cardamom, 6 cloves, 1 bay leaf, 1tbsp jeera, 10 peppercorns, 1inch ginger, 1whole garlic, 4 dried red chillies, 2 tbsp salt and chicken. Allow cooking up to 4 whistles.
Let it cool, then open the cooker and take out chicken pieces, drain the stock and keep aside.
Now in a pan heat 4 tbsp oil and add 5 green cardamom, 5 laung, 8 peppercorns, 1tbsp jeera, ginger garlic paste nd stir it well.
Add some sliced onions and let it turn golden brown.
Then add chicken pieces nd stir for 2 mins. Now add 2tbsp curd and stir well. Add rice and the stock. If required add little water.
Now cook it on high Flame for 10mins followed by low flame for half an hour.
Recipe is ready! Serve it hot with raita, chutney or chicken curry or gravy.
